Actuarial Consultant

As a key member of our team at Talent Hire Group, you will play a crucial role in delivering our stochastic modelling tools to clients and providing bespoke consultancy services. Your expertise will be essential in supporting junior analysts and ensuring the quality and accuracy of their work.

• Configure and test systems for client projects, including independent verification of stochastic forecast results.
• Coordinate and deliver multiple project tasks within scope, adhering to estimated time and deadline constraints.
• Engage with clients to discuss modelling and configuration possibilities for our tools, determining requirements.
• Ensure our tools meet relevant financial legislative requirements and stay up-to-date with potential future developments.
• Provide technical guidance to junior analysts, helping them learn on the job and manage the quality of their work.

• Actuarial exam progress to Associate AIA level or above.
• 5+ years of experience in the financial services sector, with knowledge of final salary and defined contribution pension scheme structures.
• Strong Excel skills, with Visual Basic an advantage.
• Proven ability to lead and coordinate multiple tasks, taking responsibility for overall project deliverables.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to provide creative solutions.
