We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our team in Leatherhead, UK. As a key member of our Audit Team, you will be responsible for leading on-site audit teams and completing jobs with minimal supervision, to deadlines and within budget.

The successful candidate will have at least 18 months experience in Audit and Assurance within an accountancy practice and be studying towards ACA / ACCA qualification with the professional/applied skills stage completed. They will also have experience of leading external audit assignments from fieldwork to completion stages under International Standards on Auditing, preparing accounts in accordance with UK GAAP, and using Microsoft Office suite – Intermediate/Advanced user of Word and Excel.

In this role, you will work closely with clients and related third parties, communicating effectively and building strong relationships. You will also contribute to business development, promoting the firm and its services to the existing client base and prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on-site audit teams and complete jobs to deadlines and within budget
  • Prepare accounts and reports as required
  • Co-ordinate planning at clients, liaising with relevant departments within the firm
  • Communicate and build relationships with clients and related third parties
  • Develop and supervise trainees

Required Skills & Attributes:

  • ACA / ACCA qualification with professional/applied skills stage completed
  • At least 18 months experience in Audit and Assurance within an accountancy practice
  • Experience of leading external audit assignments from fieldwork to completion stages under International Standards on Auditing
  • Experience of preparing accounts in accordance with UK GAAP
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office suite – Intermediate/Advanced user of Word and Excel
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills with senior staff and clients
  • Motivated to take responsibility of the role and maintain a high level of quality service across all competencies
  • Eligibility to work in the UK without any restrictions

Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
