Lead Veterinary Surgeon Opportunity

Purovets is seeking an exceptional Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join our esteemed multi-site practice in Leicestershire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing our veterinary team, providing mentorship, and contributing to business planning to drive continued success.

About the Role

This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week over 4/5 days, with a 1:4 Saturday shift and 1:15 Sunday shift. Part-time applications will be welcomed. The successful candidate will have a predominantly clinical role, with responsibilities including operating and consulting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the veterinary team, providing mentorship and guidance
  • Oversee rota management and contribute to business planning
  • Take on a predominantly clinical role, including operating and consulting
  • Work alongside an experienced team, including certificate holders in ophthalmology, orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, and emergency critical care
