Job Title: Care Assistant - Support Worker
Salary: £12.14 per hour
Hours: Part-time, 9am-3pm, 4-5 shifts per week, including alternate weekends
Location: Sleaford, NG34 9PL
Employer: St Andrew's Nursing and Care Home, part of Jasmine Healthcare
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at St Andrew's Nursing and Care Home. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to residents, including washing, dressing, and eating
- Assist residents with daily activities, such as bathing, grooming, and mobility
- Complete daily charts to a high standard, ensuring 90% and above is achieved during monthly audits
- Ensure mandatory training is up-to-date and completed throughout the year
Requirements:
- Willingness to study towards a Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification
- Good reason or experience drawn to care
- Live within 30 minutes of the home
Preferred Requirements:
- One year's experience working in a residential or nursing home
- Level 2 Health & Social Care or above
