About the Role

The Loader Operative will be responsible for collecting waste from designated collection points and returning containers where necessary. This role requires the ability to work as part of a team, operate machinery, and work with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect waste from designated collection points and return containers where necessary.
  • Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Work with minimal supervision to achieve collection targets.
  • Assist residents as required and provide excellent customer service.
  • Ensure all waste is loaded correctly and safely, and that spillages are cleared up immediately.
  • Act as a reversing assistant to ensure safe manoeuvring of the vehicle.
  • Adhere to legal requirements and the Company's health and safety rules and procedures.
  • Remain polite and respectful with all colleagues, members of the public, and client representatives at all times.
