Expeditor Trainee

Sulzer is a leading engineering company with a proud heritage of innovation. We are seeking a Trainee Expeditor (Materials) to join our team and ensure the smooth flow of materials within our operation.

• Support the Materials Team by assisting Category Buyers and Expeditors to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
• Engage with suppliers to confirm delivery dates and track performance, driving continuous improvement.
• Learn to manage and update the SAP system, gaining valuable procurement and expediting experience.
• Build strong relationships with both internal teams and external suppliers to meet project milestones.
• Proactively address supplier performance issues, playing a key role in maintaining delivery schedules.

• Willing to complete relevant procurement training.
• Basic knowledge of Word and Excel.
• 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths (Grade 4+); ICT qualification is a bonus.
• Full driving license.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Good communication skills to work with suppliers and teams.
• A proactive attitude and ability to work well under pressure.
