Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of crane and lifting equipment to ensure compliance with LOLER and PUWER regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address equipment-related issues.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues and clients on crane and lifting equipment operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in crane and lifting equipment maintenance and operation.
Requirements:
  • Hold an HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Marine, or Automotive Engineering.
  • Have hands-on experience with maintaining, servicing, and repairing crane and lifting equipment.
  • Knowledge of LOLER and PUWER regulations and ability to apply them in a practical setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to work at height and in confined spaces.
