Our client, a prominent North West manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Strategic Commercial Finance Professional to join their close-knit commercial finance team.

This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact through the production of high-quality monthly reporting and forecasting. The successful candidate will possess excellent commercial acumen and be focused on business partnering to support their business area by providing financial insights to enable informed decision-making.

  • Production of fully supported Forecasts, Budget and Medium Term Strategy for allocated business streams and cost centres
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, guidelines and timescales at all times
  • Preparation of business stream forecasts, feeding into the overall Market Unit consolidation
  • Maintenance of tight monthly reporting deadlines for UK, Region and Group reports
  • Sales & EBIT review and reconciliation prior to monthly reporting deadlines
  • Investigation and resolution of stakeholder queries following monthly management reporting
  • Add value through effective business partnering
  • Supporting business stream management in controlling and managing costs within their Budget
About You:
  • Professionally qualified accountant, either CIMA, ACA or ACCA
  • Post-qualified experience in a management accountant or FP&A role, preferably with 2+ years of experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and ERP business IT systems, ideally SAP
  • Able to work independently and develop proactive solutions to business problems
  • Drive to improve processes and a growth mindset
  • Project management skills desirable
  • Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management ability
