We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Planning and Control Manager to join our team at the Recruitment Bunker. As an MP&L Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing all materials, planning, and logistics activities within the facility for full vehicle production.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working in an automotive/manufacturing environment and possess strong leadership and management skills. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, negotiate, and manage key stakeholders, customers, and external providers.

Salary: £42,500 - £52,000 per annum

About the Role:

As an MP&L Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and economical movement of materials in and out of the facility. This includes implementing, reviewing, and continuously improving processes related to all MP&L activities. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the Bill of Materials (BOM) is aligned with production methods and design releases, facilitating effective control over inventory planning and management.

You will lead the development and execution of the packaging and logistics strategy, ensuring the efficient flow of materials and minimizing waste and inefficiencies. Additionally, you will ensure that suppliers receive accurate schedules and forecasts with appropriate lead times, fostering strong supplier relationships and ensuring timely material deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, review, and continuously improve processes related to all MP&L activities
• Ensure that the Bill of Materials (BOM) is aligned with production methods and design releases
• Lead the development and execution of the packaging and logistics strategy
• Ensure that suppliers receive accurate schedules and forecasts with appropriate lead times

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven ability of working as an MP&L Manager within an Automotive/Manufacturing environment
• Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development
• Confidence in communication, with strong interpersonal and influencing skills
• Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate, and manage key stakeholders, customers, and external providers
• Commercially and financially astute with experience of managing budgets
• Proven analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Results-oriented with the ability to plan and prioritize multiple projects of self and others and to deliver against objectives and deadlines
• Project Management skills
• Excellent attention to detail mindset
• An understanding of industry and regulatory requirements such as Quality System Regulations (IATF16949, ISO9001, 5S, TPM, KPI's)

Benefits:
