We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Pain Management team at Newham University Hospital. As a leading healthcare provider, we strive to deliver safe and compassionate care to our patients in east London and beyond.

Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver patient-centered care. The successful candidate will have a relevant degree or significant experience in a similar Band 7 post, with a strong background in pain management.

About the Role
  • Manage a nurse-led caseload while maintaining professionalism and adhering to clinical governance principles.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective pain management strategies.
  • Analyse and resolve problems within a caseload, seeking advice when necessary, and review performance using reflective practice.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant degree or significant experience in a similar Band 7 post.
  • Pain Management course at level 6/7 or additional qualifications in Palliative Care, Rheumatology, or rehabilitation.
  • Mentorship qualification or Clinical Supervision, ENB 998 or equivalent.
  • Relevant MSc, preferably in Pain Management.
Salary and Benefits
