We are seeking a skilled Gas Engineer to join our team in Stockport, helping us deliver high-quality services to domestic properties. Position: Gas Engineer
Location: Stockport
Salary: £35,500
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Hours: 40 hours per week

About the Role:
Morgan King Mechanical & Electrical are on the hunt for a Gas Engineer in Stockport. You'll be responsible for servicing, repairing, and installing gas central heating systems in domestic properties, ensuring all work complies with the latest Gas Safe regulations. This role will also involve emergency out-of-hours cover on a rota basis.

  1. Perform gas servicing, repairs, and installations in domestic properties.
  2. Diagnose faults and complete remedial works on gas central heating systems.
  3. Create accurate risk assessments and method statements.
  4. Maintain and manage your company vehicle in line with company policy.

What We're Looking For:

  1. Experience in domestic gas installations, with a solid understanding of rectification and upgrades.
  2. City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent in domestic gas installations.
  3. Strong knowledge of Health and Safety standards and risk assessment skills.
  4. Experience working in domestic properties, ideally in social housing.
  5. Full UK driving licence is essential.
