Support Worker for Students with SEMH and ASC

Zen Educate is seeking a qualified Support Worker to work at a special needs school in Bristol. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students who have social, emotional, and mental health struggles, as well as those on the autistic spectrum.
">- This full-time position offers a competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- As a Support Worker, you will provide one-to-one support to students with SEMH and ASC, implementing effective strategies to engage with them and manage challenging behaviour.
- You will work closely with the support team and follow instructions from teachers to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.
In order to be successful in this role, you will need:
- School experience preferred but not essential
- Experience working with special needs, either in a school setting, as a youth worker, or in a care environment
- Ability to manage and engage with students with SEMH or ASC
- Calm and empathetic approach towards children
- Strong team player with the ability to follow instructions and attainment goals
