About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Science teacher to join our esteemed school in Brighton. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the academic success of our students and inspire the next generation of scientific thinkers.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality Science lessons to primary/secondary school students, incorporating innovative teaching strategies and technology.
  • Develop and implement an effective Science curriculum that aligns with educational standards, incorporating cross-curricular initiatives and extracurricular activities.
  • Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment within the Science classroom, maintaining accurate records of student progress.
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting students' curiosity and passion for scientific exploration.
  • Collaborate with other Science teachers and school staff to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and educational programs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field.
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS).
  • Proven experience teaching Science in a primary/secondary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the national Science curriculum and educational standards.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and an inclusive teaching approach.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Dedication to continuous professional development and a commitment to staying updated with the latest educational practices and technologies in the field of Science education.
Salary and Benefits

Our estimated salary range is £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including opportunities for professional growth and development.
