- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support individuals in maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
- Help individuals with meal planning, preparation, and feeding if necessary.
- Assist with medication administration and ensure compliance with prescribed medications.
- Support individuals in participating in social and recreational activities.
- Document and report any changes in behaviour or health status to the appropriate supervisor.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient demeanour.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of individuals.
