About the Role

As a Parcel Delivery Driver with Pertemps Maidstone, you will be responsible for delivering parcels to customers in the local community. You will start your day in the local delivery office, sorting and gathering the mail needed for your route. You will collect your allocated vehicle and your hand-held computer device (detailing your route and tracking your mail) and then deliver the mail and parcels to your local community. Shift lengths vary between 4 - 8 hours per day.

About You

We are looking for an upbeat, self-motivated individual who is happy to work alone as well as part of a team. You will be helpful and approachable, displaying a strong sense of community, as you get to know the people you meet on your round. You will be required to complete a full DBS security check prior to commencing work.

Requirements

A full UK manual driving licence (in your current UK address) and maximum 6 penalty points are required. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept IN/DD/DR/CD endorsements. You will be smartly presented, always acting in a professional and courteous manner. Some previous experience in a customer-facing or delivery role would be ideal but not essential.
