Job Title: Female Personal Assistant – VAGNCL

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Female Personal Assistant to join our team at Disability North. The successful candidate will provide support to an independent young lady with Cerebral Palsy, enabling her to live her best life both at home and in the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with meals, both orally and via PEG
  • Bathing and personal care
  • Administering medication
  • Domestic duties
  • Supporting the individual to maximise independence
Requirements:
  • Knowledge or experience of working with someone with Cerebral Palsy or PEG experience is an advantage
  • Full training will be given
  • Current DBS essential
  • Full driving licence preferred but not essential

What We Offer:

We offer a long term and permanent position, subject to satisfactorily completing a probationary period. You will be working in an established team of 8 support workers and will always be working with another member of the team on a 2:1 basis.

A Motability car is available for trips out on weekends and for holidays.

This position is open to women only as the role includes providing personal care – GOC rules apply.

We are offering both full and part time hours.
