Captioning Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Captioning Specialist to join our team in the United Kingdom. This role is ideal for individuals who have experience with access services and are passionate about making content accessible to a wider audience.

• This position involves operating various workflow tools and systems to prepare and deliver access services, including subtitling, audio description, and sign language studio.
• You will be responsible for managing all aspects of access services production, communicating with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure prompt service delivery.

1. Operate workflow tools and systems to produce access services files or streams.
2. Identify technical issues and escalate problems to relevant stakeholders as needed.
3. Use production systems to create access services materials, handle administrative tasks, and maintain accuracy in scheduling systems.
4. Engage in training plans through demos, observation, and buddying to meet target requirements.

• Proofreading and copy editing skills.
