Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Specialist

Salary: £45,000 - £53,000 per annum
This exciting opportunity is available for an experienced HGV Technician to join our client's team in Wymondham/Thetford area. The successful candidate will have a strong background in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair.
The role involves carrying out routine servicing and repairs on a mixed fleet of HGVs, as well as completing compliance paperwork accurately. Previous experience working with refuse/council vehicles or sweepers and plant equipment is highly desirable.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience as a mobile HGV mechanic, HGV technician, HGV fitter or HGV engineer.
- Experience in repairing Scania, Volvo, DAF, Mercedes or Ford trucks.
- A City and Guilds or NVQ in heavy vehicle mechanics, automotive mechanics/engineering or mechanical engineering.
- Irtec training/qualifications.
- Ability to carry out MOTs to VOSA standards.
- A Class 2/Class 1 (HGV1/HGV2) licence/C licence/C+E licence.
