About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Principal Systems Engineer to join our team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to further their career in a highly motivated and inspirational environment.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a range of experience within the Systems/Civil Engineering/Transportation/Infrastructure sectors. This is a great chance to work across a number of High Speed and Conventional rail projects.

Main Responsibilities
  • Delivering high-quality Systems Engineering services to clients, including appropriate Systems Engineering processes for projects.
  • Leading a team of Systems Engineers, responsible for Engineering (RE), Systems Design (SD), Analysis (e.g., Functional, Physical, Performance), Modelling, Integration (SI), Cost / Value Engineering (DtC), Change Control Management (CM & CC), Validation (V&V), and Systems Engineering discipline activities (e.g., Safety, Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, EMC, Human Factors, etc.).
  • Ensuring the delivery of Systems Engineering deliverables within time and budget.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Degree in a relevant subject.
  • Professional Institute Membership (IET, INCOSE) would also be desirable but not essential.
  • Experience of Systems Engineering on Large Railway projects, including Requirements and V&V, Systems Integration, Interface management, System Architectures, Common Safety Method, and Human Factors.

Location and Salary

The role is based in London, and we offer a salary of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
