Job Opportunity: Lecturer in Engineering

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Lecturer in Engineering to join our team at Kingston College. As a Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, ensuring they achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Engineering courses to students at various levels, including FE and HE vocational programs.
  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans, incorporating new technologies to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum materials and resources.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Hold a degree in an appropriate subject with strong knowledge of engineering relevant to the curriculum offer.
  • Hold a teaching qualification and have experience of delivering training at Level 3 in an Engineering environment or educational setting.
  • Have knowledge of new technologies to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Excellent planning, preparation, organisational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
