Job Overview

Maintenance Engineer is a key role within our team at Acorn by Synergie, Plymouth.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for continuous improvement and be able to maximise equipment performance.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to increase efficiency and productivity.

The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is running efficiently
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment faults, making recommendations for repair or replacement
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce downtime
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless equipment operation
