About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Design Engineer to join our team at McLaren Applied. As an Associate Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of our cutting-edge products, working closely with our experienced engineers to deliver high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) for our Motorsport business, ensuring they meet the required performance goals.
  2. Collaborate with our Systems engineers and Product Hardware and Software engineers to integrate PCBs with our products.
  3. Work closely with our Production team to ensure smooth production and delivery of our products.
  4. Develop and maintain best-practice processes, using IPC-based standards.
Requirements
  1. First-class degree or upper 2nd in Electronic, Electrical, Physics, Computer Science or similar technical field of study.
  2. Good understanding of embedded electronics and experience developing in an eCAD environment, ideally Cadence.
  3. Ability to work both as part of a team and individually, with high attention to detail and great analytical skills.
