Rheumatology Expert

National Health Service (NHS) Trusts in the UK are seeking experienced Consultants to fill various positions. Our client, a well-established NHS Trust, has assigned us to recruit a Consultant Rheumatologist on either a Substantive or a 12-month Fixed-Term basis.

The position can be filled by a specialist with pure Rheumatology expertise or one who is proficient in General Internal Medicine (GIM). Our client achieved an 'Outstanding' rating in their 2016 Care Quality Commission inspection and an overall 'Good' rating for the rest of the hospital.

This regional centre of excellence offers multiple specialties, including Obesity Research, Neurophysiology, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, and Cancer Services. The location provides easy access to London and the Midlands, major motorways, and an international airport.

The Consultant will attend weekly Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings and fortnightly X-ray meetings, supporting and training Senior Registrar's (SpR's) and junior medical staff.
