Prison Security Escort

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Prison Security Escort at HMP Downview. As a member of our security team, you will be responsible for escorting and overseeing contractors while they complete maintenance work within the prison.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contractor Management: Verify the identification of contractors and ensure they have been briefed on security measures.
- Escort Services: Escort contractors through the prison to their designated work areas.
- Site Supervision: Oversee contractors while they are working, ensuring their safety and adherence to security protocols.
- Tool Accountability: Verify that contractors have accounted for all tools prior to leaving the work area.
- Communication: Utilize radios to request permission to move contractors within the prison.
Requirements:
- Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with contractors and prison staff.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrate excellent attention to detail to ensure the security and safety of contractors and prison staff.
- Safety-Conscious: Be safety-conscious and proactive in identifying potential security risks.
- UK Residency: Have been living in the UK for at least 3+ years.
- Security Vetting: Be able to pass security vetting, including providing references, passing security police checks, and providing photo identification.
