About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Business Partner to join our client, a large-scale trust in the Not for Profit sector based in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management, ensuring effective decision-making and risk management.
  • Oversee financial compliance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor a small team, fostering a collaborative environment that drives high performance and achieves business objectives.
  • Develop and present financial reports, providing insights that inform business strategy and drive growth.
  • Contribute to the development of the trust's financial strategy, working closely with senior stakeholders.
  • Support the implementation of financial policies, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Collaborate with other departments to drive financial planning and forecasting, ensuring accurate and timely information.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A qualification in Accounting or Finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
  • Experience in strategic financial planning and analysis, with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical context.
