Electrical Construction Lead

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Lead to join our team in Cambridge. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and project management, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality electrical projects.
The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of electrical systems, construction practices, and industry standards, as well as effective planning and project management skills. They will be responsible for leading electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
The salary for this role is estimated at around £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including company car or car allowance, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, private healthcare, and company pension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading electrical projects from inception to completion
- Project progress and performance monitoring, addressing any issues that arise
- Conducting site inspections and quality control checks
- Overseeing working practices to ensure compliance with HSE policies
- Managing materials, labour, installation, procurement, and drawing programmes
- Maintaining close working relationships with clients, stakeholders, sub-contractors, and internal teams
- Ensuring smooth electrical handover to the client and providing aftercare support
