Job Overview:
Morrisons is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Category Manager to lead the procurement of marketing requirements. As a key member of the Marketing function, you will be responsible for category management, supplier relationship management, and driving commercial benefit.

About the Role:
This is a hybrid role operating over a 4-and-a-half-day working week. You will work closely with stakeholders to develop and implement category plans, manage non-contractual spend, and drive continuous improvement across the category. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, external insight, and category expertise in Marketing Procurement.

Key Responsibilities:
* Building and maintaining close business partnerships with the Marketing function* Line management of category specialists and overseeing best-in-class delivery by consultancies and intermediaries* Developing and implementing 3-year category plans aligned to business objectives* Supporting stakeholders and Supplier Managers with supplier relationship strategies* Managing non-contractual spend throughout the stakeholder base* Influencing policy and driving continuous improvement* Demonstrating a positive attitude and inspiring confidence in others

About You:
We are looking for someone with a customer-first mindset, great leadership skills, and external insight and category expertise in Marketing Procurement. The ideal candidate will have strong strategic procurement experience, proven negotiation capabilities, and the ability to drive positive relationships between teams.
