Job Title: Senior / Principal Electrical Design Engineer MEP Building Services

Job Description:
Our client, a leading international M&E consultancy, is seeking an experienced Senior / Principal Engineer to join their team in the North East office. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering European data centres and mission-critical projects, as well as experience in other sectors such as process pharmaceutical, healthcare, commercial, labs, and clean rooms.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the delivery of large projects, undertaking a client-facing role in the development and design of engineering project services for Mechanical or Electrical installations, systems, equipment, and facilities.
• Develop and specify applications of controls, instruments, and operating systems for all building engineering services purposes.
• Conduct surveys, tests, and dilapidation reports on existing electrical/mechanical installations.
• Ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications and customer requirements.
• Make day-to-day decisions on project progress and provide direct liaison with clients, as well as advice and representation at technical meetings with customers, professional teams, and contractors.
