Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team at People Solutions Group Limited. As a 7.5 Tonne Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods and materials to customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver goods and materials to customers in a timely and professional manner
  • Operate a 7.5 Tonne vehicle in a safe and efficient manner
  • Load and unload cargo from the vehicle
  • Ensure all cargo is properly secured and protected during transport
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
  • Maintain accurate records of shipment and mileage
  • Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management

Requirements:

  • Valid UK Category C1 Driving Licence
  • Valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
  • Minimum of 12 months experience driving a 7.5 Tonne vehicle
  • No more than six penalty points and no major endorsement codes
  • Ability to speak and read good level of English
  • Flexibility and availability to work overtime as and when required

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Previous experience dealing with customers

Training and Development:

  • Driving Assessment to be completed before starting
  • Full training will be provided for this role after successful assessment
