Support Worker - Wrexham

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Wrexham. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of the people we support, helping them to gain more independence in their daily lives.

About the Role:

  • Assist individuals with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Encourage and support individuals to access their local communities, socialise, and engage in activities.
  • Teach new life skills, such as cooking and cleaning, to promote independence.
  • Work collaboratively with a dynamic team to provide high-quality support.
  • Hold a full UK manual driving license and be willing to use it for work purposes.

Requirements:

  • Full UK manual driving license.
  • Resilience, flexibility, and composure in your approach.
  • Experience with Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, complex mental health needs, and challenging behaviours.
