Cavendish Professionals is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Contracts Manager to oversee their London-based projects.

The Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, visiting sites daily to address on-site queries, and reporting back to our head office. Our projects include high-end hotels, heritage sites, listed buildings, and new build apartments, with values ranging from £250,000 to £3 million.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee construction projects from start to finish
  • Visit sites daily to address on-site queries and ensure projects are running smoothly
  • Report back to head office on project progress and any issues that may arise
  • Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
  • Manage project budgets and ensure projects are completed within budget
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Proven experience working in high-end carpentry and joinery
  • Previous experience as a contracts manager in the UK
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
