Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and inspirational headteacher to lead our school community from the start of the summer term 2025. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of improving writing standards, extending early years provision, and developing effective progression and assessment in non-core subjects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the school community with creativity, reflection, and inspiration, ensuring that every decision prioritizes children's learning and well-being.
  • Continue our culture of high expectations for attainment and progress, focusing on improving writing, expanding early years provision, and developing effective progression and assessment in non-core subjects.
  • Act as an outstanding practitioner, teaching up to 0.3 according to the needs of the school.
  • Be committed to providing a broad and balanced curriculum that stimulates a love of learning, encourages individual talents, and introduces pupils to local, national, and global issues.
  • Build excellent relationships with children, staff, parents, governors, and the wider community, promoting and celebrating the school's successes and engaging with local families' interests and needs.
  • Promote extra-curricular provision and enrichment activities, including the development of the school grounds.

  • An expected teaching commitment of up to 0.3 according to the needs of the school.

Salary

The salary for this role is £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
