Job Title: Primary School Kitchen Team Member

Salary: £13.50 per hour
Hours of Work: 25-37.5 hours per week (Term time only)
Job Overview:
We are seeking experienced and skilled kitchen staff to join our team at a local primary school in South Yorkshire. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of hot and cold meals, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and supporting special events.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook nutritious meals for students.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Assist with menu planning, ordering, and receiving deliveries.
- Clean the school kitchen and assist in other areas of the school when needed.
- Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in a catering environment, knowledge of kitchen equipment, cleaning schedules, and health & safety regulations. You should also be flexible, with a proactive approach to identifying and reporting issues.
All candidates will be subject to reference checks and must have an Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
