Associate Director Procurement Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director Procurement to join our team at Maxim Recruitment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a large, multidisciplinary construction consultancy based in Leeds.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in Defence, Utilities, Infrastructure, Mining & Minerals, and other Natural Resources. They will be responsible for delivering end-to-end procurement services to public and private sector clients, with a focus on central and local government, defence, infrastructure, power, and utilities.

The Associate Director Procurement will lead a highly skilled team of strategic procurement professionals, providing specialist procurement strategy advice to clients. They will be responsible for leading and managing end-to-end procurement services on major projects or programmes, as well as leading and supporting the development of the procurement services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tender preparation, development, and management, including negotiation. They will also have experience working in regulated procurement, particularly Public Contract Regulations 2015, and be aware of potential changes to the public procurement regime.
