About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at a leading manufacturing site in Bugle, Cornwall UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical servicing, troubleshooting, and repair on a wide range of factory equipment ensuring machines operate at optimal efficiency.
  • Rapidly respond to breakdowns minimizing downtime and restoring production operations quickly and effectively.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of equipment repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks supporting continued efficiency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify process improvements and implement efficiency measures to support production goals.
  • Identify and order electrical components as required ensuring parts are readily available and inventory is efficiently managed.
Requirements
  • Strong electrical engineering background with hands-on experience in a manufacturing or factory setting.
  • Technical skills: proficiency in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems; knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting.
  • Formal electrical engineering qualification (minimum level 3) with a multi-skilled focus.
  • Able to work efficiently under pressure prioritizing tasks to meet production goals.
