Job Overview

March, a leading provider of critical engineering services in the UK, is seeking an experienced Safety Assurance Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will play a vital role in promoting good health and safety practices throughout the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote and drive the development of a positive safety culture with tactical plans that continually improve performance.
  • Lead Safety Committee Meetings and act on feedback.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance of the company's Integrated Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management Systems with certified ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001).
  • Complete operational site audits and inspections to achieve health and safety compliance at site level.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience working within the health and safety industry or in a similar role preferably within a related industry.
  • Evidence of continued development within the health, safety, and environmental discipline.
  • Ideal candidate should be a member of IOSH with a supporting level 3 qualification in occupational safety and health.
