Role Overview

We are seeking a Railway Infrastructure Coordinator to join our engineering team at the Bedford Grain Store. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating the inspection, faulting, maintenance, and renewal of railway infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and inspire the success of a team involved in everything from inspection and faulting through to maintenance and renewal.
  • Establish safety arrangements and make sure Network Rail staff and contractors alike follow safe systems of work.
  • Proactively controlling and checking the quality of work and the competence of your people.

Requirements

  • Experience of organising and controlling the safe and efficient delivery of work.
  • Excellent communication skills, both in person and in writing.
  • Knowledge of discipline-specific maintenance, inspection, faulting, and renewal techniques.
  • A clear and inspirational leader with a strong sense of direction.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a safety-critical role and is subject to drug and alcohol testing and passing of the relevant medical assessment.
