Job Summary

Understanding Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Protocol Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design and development of a cutting-edge layer-1 blockchain platform. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the blockchain, as well as contributing to research and development of new features and blockchain technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain the layer-1 blockchain, ensuring it meets the highest standards of security, scalability, and performance.
  • Core Component Development: Develop and optimize core components of the blockchain, including consensus, state management, and financial infrastructure.
  • Research and Development: Contribute to research and development of new features and blockchain technologies, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal cross-functional teams, as well as external partners and communities, to further enhance the ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Experience: Experience with protocol engineering in a blockchain setting, with a strong understanding of blockchain concepts, cryptography, and consensus mechanisms.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency and production experience with Rust or Golang, as well as a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant field.
