Regional Chef

Careline Lifestyles is a leading independent provider of high-quality nursing and residential care, specialising in acquired brain injuries, neurological, mental health needs, learning and physical disabilities for persons over 18 years of age in addition to providing nursing, residential and social care for the elderly, based in the Northeast of England.

We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our team in a regional role. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the delivery and preparation of food, as well as the production of menus that cater to the diverse needs of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and production of food, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
• Develop and implement menus that cater to the diverse needs of our residents, including special dietary requirements.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure efficient delivery of orders and maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Assist with the Food Safety Management System, including COSHH Management and cleaning rota.
• Practice safe systems of work, assessing risk and having due regard for personal safety of residents, visitors and team members.

Shift Pattern:

Rolling rota (including weekends) - working 5 out of 7 days.

• 8am - 5pm.
• 8-hour shift.
• Day shift.
