Security Officer

As a Security Officer with Border Force, you'll play a vital role in keeping communities safe and disrupting organised crime. You'll be working at the UK's borders, checking passenger permissions and documentation, and identifying potential security threats.
What you'll do
- Operate immigration and customs controls to check passenger permissions and documentation
- Identify and search people, goods, and vehicles to establish if a customs offence has been committed
- Interview passengers, undertake investigations, and determine whether they qualify for entry to the UK
- Arrest offenders, preserve evidence, manage detention, and liaise with other law enforcement partners

Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years of age at the time of submitting your application
- You must hold a full valid UK manual/automatic driving licence
- You must be a UK National and a UK resident for the last 5 years
