We are seeking an experienced Mechanical HVAC Site Manager to join our client, a leading national organisation in the Energy (M&E) Division, based in Scarborough.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to oversee and coordinate the mechanical aspects of installation works on nominated projects. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of projects while adhering to high-quality standards and safety regulations.

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Working Hours: 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

  1. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of mechanical engineers on-site.
  2. Coordinate and oversee all mechanical activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budget constraints, and quality standards.
  3. Provide expert guidance and support in the installation of mechanical systems, pumps, pipelines, and related equipment.
  4. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and contractors, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical activities within the broader project scope.
  5. Quickly address and resolve any mechanical issues or challenges that may arise during construction, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise mechanical installations on site.
  • Cover day-to-day operations and make tactical decisions when required.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of work activities, equipment maintenance, and project milestones.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role overseeing mechanical installations on robust M&E projects.
  • Strong planning, organisation, and monitoring abilities.
  • A legal right to work in the UK.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing, HVAC, or a related discipline (desirable).
