Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Mergers and Acquisitions team as a Strategic Mergers and Acquisitions Specialist. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in driving M&A execution across industry and geographic verticals in EMEA, managing and assisting in the pitching of M&A services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting in-depth financial analysis, including modelling and valuation, to assess potential M&A opportunities, risks and mitigation actions.
  • Structuring deals and negotiating terms, collaborating with legal and financial colleagues to ensure that the deal is fair from a financial point of view.
  • Coordinating client due diligence processes, including tax, legal, financial, and operational assessments of potential target companies.
  • Managing various aspects of M&A transactions, ensuring they progress efficiently and meet client expectations.
  • Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Good understanding of professional ethics and regulatory environment.
  • Excellent academic background (a minimum of Bachelor degree).
  • Relevant Investment Banking (corporate finance/M&A) experience or equivalent.
  • Fluent in English; ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages is helpful.
