About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SEND Teacher to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of our students.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate teacher to deliver high-quality teaching and learning provision to a small group of pupils with mild to moderate learning needs across Key Stages One and Two.

Teaching Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and effective teaching to support pupils' social communication and overall development, ensuring progress in line with targets and recommendations.
  • Work closely with the main school SENDCo to monitor pupil progress and contribute actively to provision mapping and annual reviews, personalising learning as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records to track and monitor pupil progress using data and teacher assessment records.
Pastoral Care
  • Provide supportive guidance and care for all pupils in the post holder's care, promoting their welfare and well-being.
  • Take responsibility for safeguarding children and young persons, working closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead to ensure their safety.
  • Liaise with parents, keeping them informed about their child's day, learning, and achievements, attending Parent Evenings and individual meetings as required.
