Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Nurse to join our team at Nexter Ltd. As a key member of our nursery staff, you will be responsible for providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children aged 0-5 years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Activity Planning: Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development in children.
- Observation and Documentation: Regularly observe and document children's progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and making recommendations for future development.
- Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress, and seeking feedback to ensure the best possible care.
- Nursery Environment: Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and well-maintained, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other members of the nursery team to provide high-quality care, sharing knowledge and expertise to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (or equivalent) and a current Full Paediatric First Aid certificate.
- Experience: Proven experience working in a nursery setting, with a strong understanding of child development and learning principles.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Passion: A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education.
