About the Job: Harris Hill Charity Recruitment Specialists seeks a highly skilled Communities Development Lead to drive business and service development for the Communities Team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop and implement strategies for relationship and partnership integration, income generation, and special project implementation across Ambleside and Bradford.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop high-level relationships and networks with local, regional, and national stakeholders to advance the charity's interests.
  2. Integrate partnerships to enhance the charity's presence in the Youth and Communities network across the Northwest.
  3. Collaborate with Head of Delivery (Communities) and Area Team Managers to identify funding and growth opportunities.
  4. Secure income against an annual target through bids and tenders, including pipeline work.
  5. Coordinate report production and submission to funders, showcasing delivery KPIs, case studies, impact, evaluation, and outcomes.
  6. Lead special projects like Volunteering and Youth Voice/Participation.

Requirements:
  • Substantial knowledge and experience of the Children & Young People sector, including legislation and frameworks.
  • Proven track record of securing funding from various sources for youth and community programs.
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills to drive growth and impact.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the Northwest region.

Salary: £36,000 - £41,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of this role.
