Job Description:

TeacherActive is currently recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants to work in SEMH/SEND schools based in Birmingham. As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide support to students with special educational needs and challenging behaviour.

About the Role:

  • Providing individualised support to students with special educational needs and challenging behaviour
  • Working one-to-one and in general classroom settings
  • Assisting teachers with lesson planning and preparation

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with teenagers with special educational needs
  • Strong behaviour management skills and a positive attitude towards work
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to different classroom environments
