Classroom Support Specialist

We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated Classroom Support Specialists for long-term roles in primary schools across the region.
This role is ideal for individuals passionate about education and eager to make a lasting impact over an extended period.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in lesson planning and delivery under the guidance of class teachers.
- Provide targeted support to individual students or small groups, including those with special educational needs.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support student assessment and progress monitoring.
- Prepare and maintain classroom resources and materials.
- Supervise students during non-classroom activities.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Holding a Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Proven experience working in a classroom setting, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum and educational best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students.
