Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team at AWD online. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the company's day-to-day financial functions and providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
  • Lead and manage a small finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
  • Produce monthly management accounts for the UK, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
  • Lead the financial planning cycle, including the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
  • Partner with operations and commercial teams to optimize business performance
  • Regularly review and reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Manage cash flow, ensuring a healthy working capital position and robust cash forecasting framework
  • Manage banking relationships, including reporting under facility agreements
  • Ensure compliance with all VAT, PAYE, corporation tax, and other financial regulations and standards
  • Develop and maintain appropriate systems and internal controls
  • Manage the external audit process, working with auditors to produce statutory accounts
  • Support the Finance Director on future projects, including new systems, process enhancements, and internal control strengthening
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting and projects as required
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA (or equivalent)
  • Post-qualification experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience of leading and mentoring a finance team
  • Proven business partnering skills
  • Ability to be hands-on and part of the team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Full UK driving license
