Job Summary:

Altair Engineering is seeking a highly skilled FEA Engineer to join our team. As a simulation expert, you will be responsible for understanding simulation-driven design workflows across diverse physics-based domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply AI/ML techniques and physics-based AI algorithms to simulation models to improve design cycle times.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art optimization software to achieve design objectives within diverse constraints.
  • Develop new methods and enhance existing workflows for the effective incorporation of AI/ML techniques in design decision processes.
  • Foster collaboration across diverse teams and effectively communicate project outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a Master's degree or Ph.D. in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering with hands-on experience in utilizing simulations.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant simulation expertise, showcasing proficiency in commercially available simulation tools.
  • Comprehensive understanding of optimization algorithms, design exploration, and design of experiments.
  • Proven record of successful collaboration within multi-disciplinary teams.
