About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Business Partner to join our team at Hays Senior Finance. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial guidance and support to senior management, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, and driving business growth through financial analysis and planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Examine key financial data for commercial projects to ensure accounting integrity.
  • Compile and analyze data from various sources to provide financial and non-financial managers with a comprehensive overview.
  • Collaborate with Regional Commercial Directors to manage risk and support business growth through bid and tender assistance.
  • Assist with contract portfolio external audits and manage internal controls, processes, and procedures.
  • Develop and implement enhanced management information, performance, and support for business objectives.
  • Generate management account data to support forecasting and budgeting.
  • Establish productive working relationships with budget holders and ensure the accuracy of contract working capital reporting.
  • Oversee ongoing development and perform additional tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior financial role, preferably in engineering or construction.
  • Relevant accounting qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) are highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
